Marshall Rawson Wins Florida House Primary

WHITEPILL.

I’ve wanted to talk about the Florida Republican primary for over a year now.

Instead of creating another internet meme candidate though, I thought it was best to keep quiet and avoid creating headlines. Marshall was a great candidate who was running a real race on local issues. We didn’t want to create a big online spectacle like Dan Blizerian or James Fishback’s campaign

Florida Politics:

“Marshall Rawson appeared alongside League leaders at a conference the local Republican Party had publicly repudiated.

Marshall Rawson has spent years appearing at events and promoting messages associated with a White nationalist, Southern secessionist organization classified by multiple anti-bigotry watchdogs as a hate group.

Now he wants your vote.

Rawson, Chair of the Greater Melrose Republican Liberty Caucus, a self-described “5th Generation Floridian,” is running for House District 10, which covers Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Columbia and Union counties.

His Republican Primary opponent is real estate professional Chase Brannan. Both seek the seat Brannan’s father, Chuck Brannan, is vacating due to term limits. …”

Marshall won his race last night.

Blizerian and Fishback who soaked up all the attention on X and Rumble lost.

Florida Politics:

“Brannan won the fundraising and endorsements race, but Rawson won the nomination.

For the first time in eight years, House District 10 will not be represented by a Brannan.

In an upset, Marshall Rawson has won the HD 10 Republican Primary, defeating Chase Brannan and denying him the chance to succeed his father, term-limited state Rep. Chuck Brannan.

According to unofficial results, Rawson leads Brannan 54.7% to 45.3%. Rawson carried all five counties in the district with the exception of Brannan’s home county of Baker, where he won 48% of the vote.

Brannan, a real estate business owner based in Baker County, had the leg up from the start. …”

If you want to support Marshall in November, please donate.

If you happen to live in House District 10 in Florida, I encourage you to get out and vote Republican. They are going to struggle and have a terrible night elsewhere, but this race is different.

  1. To be fair, Fishback was facing a much bigger challenge trying to become governor. He performed a valuable service by once again proving that America First has a much bigger appeal to young Republicans than Trump and the establishment.

Despite being outspent 200:1, despite Trump’s endorsement, and despite Fox News propaganda, Fishback won the college towns, he won the under 35 vote, and he won 80% of the under 25 vote.

This reinforces the lesson of the Thomas Massie campaign, where 81% of Republicans under age 30 defied the Trump, the big donors, and the establishment.

We need to win at the national level. To do so, we need to learn how to win the 55 and older vote, despite Trump’s inevitable endorsement of the establishment hack.

A presidential candidate can’t fly under the radar like Marshall Rawson did. Does Rawson’s campaign have any lessons for the 2028 America First candidate?

We need to be studying Kris Kobach, Dave Brat, and Trump 2016 & 2024, and comparing those successful campaigns with the failed campaigns of Massie, Lynch and Fishback this year.

Brat and Trump in particular ran campaigns which were more America First on both immigration and foreign policy than their establishment Republican opponents, and yet they won the entire age range, not just young voters.

Here is the big dilemma: we need to be America First on foreign policy to have a chance in the general election, but that creates immense challenges in the primary, including opposition from Donald Trump, Fox News and the big donors.

  2. Congratulations to Marshall and all of our people who worked so hard for this victory. Let’s hope this is the model for thousands of these state and local winning campaigns – that’s competitive and that yes wins.

We need to stop embracing losing, stop doing the same old, same old 50 years of failure, now over 100 years of failure.

Marshall R is a great candidate – intelligent, well spoken and very very good looking as are his wife and children.

I remember when we were doing League of the South protest agianst Tyson Foods flooding Milddle Tennesee with Bantu Muslim Somalian low wage meat packers “No Jihad in Middle Tennessee”. Marshal R was distributing a news paper and so many women drivers just stopped to chat up this most handsome young man.

    🙂

Marhall R is much better looking than me. Ha ha.

Isn’t it great to win as oppoase to always losing – hear that Jamie Kel*o Ron and Ayn Rand Paul cultists?
