WSJ: Americans Want Populist Policies That Defy Traditional Political Labels

The GOP was warned for years this was coming.

They stuck their heads in the sand, caved to their donor agenda and cried socialism. Trump won the 2024 election because too many people were becoming desperate. The Iran War and all the downstream economic consequences that stem from it have only made them more desperate.

WSJ:

“Americans in both parties back government-imposed price caps and other market interventions to make life more affordable, suggesting new support for populist ideas that were once largely outside the political mainstream.

That’s the takeaway of a new Wall Street Journal survey that asked respondents what they want from their elected officials and the political system. Voters of all partisan stripes strongly support capping the cost of prescription drugs, child care and credit-card interest rates.

The survey suggests that a coalition reaching beyond the nation’s familiar party labels exists for a range of policies at a time when Americans view Republicans and Democrats negatively. …”

It is worth noting that the Trump Convention in Dallas and the $5,000 promise bombed with voters and seems to have just pissed them off even more. It hurt Republicans all over the map in September.

  1. I saw a headline that Mandami in NY is going to spend $30 million on anti-semitism. Someone must have explained things to him.

  2. Way upper class only populism would be the most accurate if you want to call this crap “populism”. No working class Whites I know are bitching about this bullshit, it’s just noise. Do you know something I do here them talk about, how come there’s so many street shitters here. Medicare fraud for all the people of shit color?…ffs lol and derter centers cuz terminators? oh no…. Occidental democrat. Scumbag extra martials lazy eye Paxton, is a scummy backstabbing douchebag, big shocker? If Texas is truly battleground, you can thank the west coast carpetbaggers who are like cancer and all the street shitters and dune coons the White Texas elites brought in by the tonnage. That the White working class concerns of this were hand-waived. TDS reveals all. The gop is quite the shit sandwich when it’s chocked full of scumbags like paxton, or ramadamadonnyshcharmaswamy, eeeeewwwwwwwwww, never, I’d try to get write in campaign going. If Americans want to keep playing this charade than the gop is the safer for White working class. The democrats are just far too scummy, duplicitous, and faggy by orders of magnitude (which a simple serious literal beating would fix a lot of this because these people are passive aggressive cowards), oh and very anti-White working class.

  3. Anglo-Americans generally don’t realize that the German “von” is NOT synonymous with the Dutch “van.” A farmer in Holland might be named “van Dyke” (German for “vom Deich”/“from the dike”), but that doesn’t make him a nobleman by any means!

  4. My sympathies are mostly with populist policies, but the judgement of most Americans isn’t good. They are too influenced by immediate issues and don’t think about long term consequences, they lack any foresight .

  5. Henrik Palmgren is a genetically defective (Gotland inbred) sociopath who controls and monitors his so-called wife around the clock and suffocates her! I’m quite sure about that.

  6. Fake Jewish polls this time from the Wall Street Jewnal. Fake Jewish polls do not help.

Paxton is going to win. He is one tough cowboy.

  7. Is there any utility in pretending anyone gives a crap what Americans want? The country is obviously being sold off to the highest bidders. Whether they be pajeets, jews, whatever flavor of weird brown mix, it doesn’t matter. Americans don’t have a say in this unless they want to take up arms. Which is unlikely to succeed anyway. The only discussions worth having right now are how to improve our chances of surviving the collapse. I doubt it will have very much to do with large-scale politics.
