Both myths were created at about the same time. “Ukrainian nationalists cite figures of 7-10 million in order to equal or surpass the six million of the Jewish Holocaust (cf. Chumatskij’s title: ‘Why Is One Holocaust Worth More Than Others?’).       Wikipedia puts him in the categories ‘American communists’ and ‘American Marxists’, make of that what you will.

      Historian Robert Conquest wrote the book The Harvest of Sorrow: Soviet Collectivisation and the Terror-Famine, which makes the case for the ‘Holodomor’ — I have not read it.

  13. We know at least one U.S. general and other high-ranking U.S. and NATO officers were among the thousands of “rats” hiding for months in the cellars of the Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol. These high ranking officers of the U.S. and NATO were among the very last to surrender, and they were gathered and whisked away in an armored personnel carrier, to an unknown destination. Also note that the CIA just added two stars to its Memorial Wall display of anonymous high-ranking CIA “heroes” killed in service.

    Unrelated but interesting: Russia is beginning to pull out of the Bologna Process for internationally-standardized education, returning to classical Russian, Soviet education or a modified form of Soviet education; in other words, Russia will be re-nationalizing its educational system from elementary to university level. Twenty years of accession to the global, Bologna system has been harmful to Russia.
