Yesterday, we were reminded that liberal America is still deifying blackness and putting black people on pedestals, not just in Times Square in Manhattan, but here in Montgomery and overseas as well in countries like Italy and the Netherlands. Overall, it seems to be hardening racial attitudes.

    Racial attitudes are more verbally reactionary but have little basis in reality. Voters are aggregating by party and religion. Mongrelism is baked into the cake at this point. White politics still means either worshipping blacks or tax cuts, neither of which are good for the race.

    As it stands, the white race does not have a future in America, and that is by design, due not only to recent history but also the Constitution itself. America was never great. You might say Black Run America IS America.

    I like the statue. The David makes us feel bad by showing a physical perfection only a few of us could ever achieve for a fleeting moment in our lives, while the black lady makes us comfortable with our body image. Her defiant poise seems to thumb its nose at the meritocracy and to console us that “not in jail” or at least “out on bail” are good enough. I want them in more cities.

    • I notice that other cultures all seem to find blacks to be quite ugly and the exact opposite of beauty standards. Sort of the way all the women in my mom’s Silent Generation would talk back in the 80s about them: “they’re so ugly” was the tone I’d overhear. You really can’t deny your eyes, in a lot of them you literally see some of Homo Erectus’ facial features and skull shape peeping through. Sort of the same way you can “see” Andie McDowell in her daughter and Dennis Quaid in his son since both kids were set up with nepotistic gigs in Hollywood.
