This is a great campaign ad.
It is a real window into how the GOP sees the young White men who voted for them in the 2024 election. The problem isn’t that the job market is historically bad. It isn’t that healthcare and education are unaffordable. It isn’t that the price of everything – gasoline, burritos, used cars, new cars, anything transported by diesel, etc. – is soaring because of the war with Iran for Israel.

The fundamental problem with the Republican Party is that it’s the Party of the merchant class and reflects their interests: greed. The future of the country be damned, “how much can I sell out the country for” is their eternal question. That great “Conservative” Ronald Reagan signed the 1986 amnesty bill guaranteeing southern California first then most of the Southwest become de facto Mexican. Walk around LA and see the predominant culture now including language is Mexico in all its Third World glory: trash, poverty, anarchy, crime, civic breakdown. Amnesty was supported by business interests, particularly agriculture to keep wages down to poverty levels even though they knew this would destroy California long term.

First, running against Socialism is gay. Running against Communism is real. But no one gets the later, or even the former. Just like the first video said alot of things the GOP says are socialism aren’t socialism and alot of things that resonate with its base like trade protectionism and immigration restrictionism are called socialism in turn. So no one can agree. Also, the fact of the matter is there has always been a sizable but definitely minority element in the US that supported socialism. This was especially true before the 1925 immigration restriction act and the subsequent greatest generation birth, the new deal, WWII, Cold War and pax Americana made it no bueno. Apparentely, the current GOP leadership failed to learn that history lesson. and just think socialism ended with the end of history. But, they are wrong, it never ended and now they’ve imported an entire generation of foreign socialists. So that combined with can’t even agree with what Socialism is cuz de education, and anti-Socialism is just not hitting.
Second, and this is actually the scary part, real socialism, as in the means of production socialism i.e. communism is big among the youth. I actually tried to warn the GOP muckity mucks on this not last year not last election, not 2020, but going back to 2016. More so Ive been consistent in the warnings. They didn’t believe it. What they still didn’t get was this was driven by immigration. Over a third of Gen z is of foreign origin with the remainder of native black or other non white with historical sympathy towards socialism. Almost half of Gen Z originates in socialist countries and more than half of you include Ellis Island Rif Raf had families sympathetic to Socialism. They like socialism. They want socialism. Basically, for the muckity mucks to realize they voted themselves out of office, walked themselves to the firing wall, and directed themeselves to be replaced by socialists by pricing out high wage earning natives thru immigration is to hard for them to admit.
So in the end, they double down. They are getting ready to give the command to fire on themselves. In other words they don’t want to expend the intellectual capital to come up with a solution that is outside their lobbyists’ guardrails. That is probably correct. Remember, most of the political class we have and the process they get to be our elected representatives. These are not the intellectuals of America. These are the theatre school kids of our high school and college.
