“It’s now legal for couples in all U.S. states to adopt children — regardless of the couple’s gender — after a federal judge struck down Mississippi’s ban on same-sex adoption late Thursday.
Overturning a law that had stood since 2000, U.S. District Court Judge Daniel P. Jordan III said the ban violated the U.S. Constitution’s equal protection clause. Mississippi’s ban was the last of its kind in the U.S.
“I’m a happy camper. Our clients are beyond happy campers. They are more than thrilled,” the plaintiffs’ lead attorney, Roberta Kaplan, tells Mississippi Today.

Some years ago the Australian Broadcasting Company did a puff piece on a gay couple adopting a baby boy from a foreign country and how wonderful this was. They scrubbed the article (though screenshots remain) when it was discovered that these guys were raping the poor kid daily until he was rescued at age five.

Yes, I think we have something to offer all people, which is to say that as we conserve our race, we also conserve our species against genetic tampering as well as displacements by robots and AI.

What kind of gays would want to adopt a kid? Gay men lead lives of self absorption that only the most affluent of heterosexuals who can afford nannies to look after their kids can mimic. Some hollywood liberal was on Leno talking about taking the wife and kids sightseeing to “The Castro” district in San Francisco and how the militant homosexuals were sneering their subculture’s curse “Breeders” at them. Just watch Al Pachino’s “Cruising” to see what they are really like and ask yourself why on earth they’d want to complicate their lives with a kid when, unlike straight men who get forced into it, they have a choice.
Fact of the matter is that the kids getting adopted these days are largely crack baby types taken away from abusive minority households by the DFS. Not really babies but older children who are probably already quite messed up. Who else other than a bunch of Lesbians would want the chaos that comes from such a situation?

Federal Courts are really becoming nothing more than kangaroo courts. The equal protection test for this particular controversy is rational basis. That is to say, if the Court can find a single reasonable basis for the law, then it must follow that the law is constitutional. It is the easiest legal hurdle to overcome, and until very recently, was met in almost all instances. But when it comes to gay rights, what the liberal judges and justices are saying, in these cases, is that the entire political system, from the voters to their elected and appointed representatives are irrational and that there is not a single rationale basis for the law, and that all the people who disagree (in many cases the majority of people in a particular state) are simply acting out of irrational fear and prejudice. Overturning legislative acts on such flimsy legal reasoning has, regrettably, become the norm, in America 2016.
It is time for the citizens of the states to realize that the rulings of reprobate judges only apply to your state if you accept that judges have the right to make decisions for you. Suppose MS were to reject this ruling. What would the consequences be? As others mentioned the federal government could suspend aid to the state. In that case MS could point out that the state is 40% black and therefore the federal government would be burdening a large underprivileged population. That would be racist.
