If, say, the attack had been planned in cooperation of some kind with an Islamist group or organization, such as ISIS or al-Qaeda, well, then, yes, it would be Moslem terrorism, but I wouldn’t be surprised to learn there are now militant Moslems–here in the U.S., anyway–who are inclined to carry out jihad on their own. If, as in this case, the target seems to have been a place where the attacker worked and which had no military or other real political significance, well, then, maybe, that’s a new kind of jihad. This sort of incident was anticipated in the 1980s in Europe when they realized that they would host increasingly large numbers of Muslims. Scenario A: Erode gun rights further and slowly remove guns from the hands of law-abiding citizens, which greatly hinders their ability to protect themselves against a growing number of violent aggressors, because all of those guns cause death and destruction.
