My take:

I thought it was boring.

This speech seemed like it was harder to watch than the previous two because it was so subdued. After droning on for over an hour, Trump spent about 15 minutes talking about fighting the scourge of anti-Semitism and liberating Nazi concentration camps.

Such is American Greatness. It was like one of those old Obama speeches when your eyes would glaze over because you have heard it all before and understand he is just performing a ritual. There were a few lines about overthrowing Venezuela’s government and ending HIV. He also had several black guests in attendance who were there as a result of criminal justice reform.

He only wishes that Trump could have talked more about how Democrats are the real racists and spent another half hour on the Holocaust:

  1. I was pained and embarrassed to be a woman for a bit there, at least for the white women seated with lying lunatic AOC.

    Do any men out there ever feel embarrassed about how much misogynist betrayal is allowed on this blog? That I and other white women must be exposed to this filth and minstrelsy? Even if some are undercover jew trolls they shouldn’t be allowed.

  2. Government still shuts down. Trump declares emergency. Federal circuit court strikes it down. Checkmate.! Victory for liberals and democrats.No wall gets built. American becomes majority non-white and the United States does not survive to see its Tricentennial.

      You have the next year pretty much summed up. Trump missed all of his opportunities. The GOP lost my vote at the Charlottesville Resolution, but Trump has lost it over the wall.

  4. Glad I missed the SOTU. I wish Trump had turned it into the STFU, and gone full Bolsonaro or Orban on the left. He should’ve gone stark, raving Pinochet and offered free one-way helicopter rides over the Potomac for anyone not wanting a wall yesterday, and told the DC bureaucracy they would get pensions in the form of a brass casing. Instead, it was CivNat BS and capitulation to TPTB, from what I read. I’m almost glad the two hours-plus I spent in snowy and icy traffic in the Mogadishu North metro area kept me from this nonsense.
