Editor’s Note: Since this debate has exploded on X, I will share my thoughts on it here.

“I saw a series of Telegram posts by Australian nationalist Joel Davis recently that I feel the need to respond to. Joel argues that rehabilitating the image of German National Socialism and Adolf Hitler himself is essential for the success of a nationalist movement. For a time, Joel and I were very closely aligned ideologically and collaborated a lot together. Our paths diverged somewhat when Joel embraced, for want of a better word, Neo-Nazism. To be clear, I still consider Joel a friend and the smartest advocate of the position he holds, but I think that position is misguided and have wanted to address it for some time.

Joel’s position isn’t exactly niche within nationalist circles now. In the past couple of years, there has been a great opening up of the topic of Jewish influence in the West, and this has brought with it a resurgence in revisionism and outright Hitlerism. This has real world consequences for our movement too. Justin Barrett, the former leader of the Irish National Party, has also chosen to go the route of embracing Hitlerism. Now self-identifying as a Nazi and donning replica SS coats to protests, he has done a tour of livestreams arguing that the only way forward for Irish nationalism is to educate our people on the success of the German National Socialist experiment. …”

Here are my own thoughts on this:

1. First, I have always hated World War II and its grip over the American imagination, and as far back as over twenty years ago I decided to pursue other historical interests. I own hundreds of books about all kinds of subjects – the Roman Empire, the Middle Ages, the Early Modern Era, the War Between the States, the Gilded Age, the Caribbean, African history and so on – which I have reviewed on this website. Hitler, National Socialism, the World War II era and the Holocaust has genuinely never interested me.

Walk into any Barnes and Noble or Books-a-Million in America and you will find a large shelf of books about World War II. The History Channel largely focuses on World War II. There is just something about the inordinate attention paid to this one war and the way it defined my youth which has always viscerally repulsed me. It is why I deliberately set out to learn as much as possible about other topics.

2. Second, the ghost of Hitler and National Socialism dominated our politics for generations. America has gone to war against multiple Hitlers in my lifetime like Slobodon Milosevic and Saddam Hussein. Fortunately, we seem to be finally moving on from the shadow of World War II as the Silent Generation and the Boomers lose their grip on American politics. Kamala Harris compared Trump to Hitler in the 2024 election and her defeat illustrates that the “fascism” card no longer works. Most Americans are tired of hearing about Hitler and “fascism.” JD Vance’s speech in Munich illustrated it is finally over.

3. Third, nationalism is surging all over the West as the memory of World War II fades due to the passing of older generations, but “National Socialism” isn’t coming back. If anything is true, whether it is in Europe or the United States the memory of it is still an anchor on the feet of nationalists. Every single attempt to revive “National Socialism” in the United States for over eighty years has failed. The collapse of the National Justice Party is the most recent example that comes to mind although there have likely been even smaller groups which have collapsed since then which were too tiny to even register.

4. Fourth, the force that drives that keeps driving the creation of these groups is nostalgia and a desire to shock and cryptkeep and reenact the past of a foreign country. This isn’t the force that led to the creation of National Socialism in Germany in the 1920s which was based on a unique set of historical circumstances like the Italian precedent, the backdrop of World War I, the intellectual atmosphere of the early 20th century, the crushing Versailles Treaty imposed on Germany, etc. As such, it doesn’t resonate with anyone beyond activists who have a narrow interest in history. It doesn’t grow beyond that.

5. Fifth, the way in which National Socialists tend to understand politics, which reduces everything that ever happens in the world to a Jewish conspiracy is antiquated and misleading. The strongest argument that I can make against it is way that it has become absolutely crippling for anyone who subscribes to this worldview. It disables activists from doing anything. It demobilizes Whites. The loudest self-described National Socialists who I see on the internet are people who have made an ideology out of losing at politics and twisting everything that happens in the news cycle into a defeat for White people.

All I tend to hear from these people is how to lose to the Left and lose to Democrats. They see themselves as “revolutionaries” even though they aren’t trying to overthrow the government through violence or capture state power through participating in elections. For the record, I don’t associate these people with historic National Socialism, as the whole appeal of the original movement was winning and defeating the Left and to that end the historic NSDAP participated in elections and won state power.

6. Finally, I think of “NS” as a fandom like Swifties or Trekkies or Harry Potter, not as a political movement. These people are not engaged in political activity. “NS” fans *discourage* political activity. There is no “NS” political party to join. There are no “NS” candidates contesting power. There is no “revolutionary” organization that plans to resort to violence to join. “NS” people believe that the system is hopelessly corrupt and their principles preclude them from engaging with it to capture state power. Many of them prefer to focus their attention on “telling the truth about World War II.”

“NS” has a three pronged strategy to demoralize and demobilize Whites: lose at politics to the Left, make endless appeals to the Left which fall on deaf ears, announce to the internet that their “principles” prevent them from engaging with the evil “system” to contest power. The calculation seems to be that if we lose at politics enough times, then “Hitler will come back.” They will say things like “Hitler save us.” This is pietism, not politics. This is a religious movement that is waiting for the Second Coming.

Like other more familiar fandoms, “NS” has meet ups or conventions. “NS” people dress up like Trekkies and parade through the streets in uniforms and with flags. “NS” fans create and consume content. “NS” has forums and podcasts like Trekkies where people get into hairsplitting arguments over canon and lore. It attracts history nerds who master the canon and the lore. It is a subculture that doesn’t appeal to the rest of society. Just like Trekkies, alienated people find comfort and belonging in the fandom. It is not uncommon for couples to meet and get married to other people who are part of the fandom. You will find lots of people in the “NS” fandom who are doing comedy or entertainment, but not politics, as no one really believes it is even possible to challenge our all-powerful Jewish overlords.

Adolf Hitler is the center of the fandom like Taylor Swift or Star Trek or Harry Potter. Historic National Socialism was an actual viable political movement, but the “NS” fandom is something completely different. The National Justice Party was a classic example of the “NS” fandom. It was an organization that was created for fans of Hitler and National Socialism, but which never engaged in political activity. As far as I am aware, members paid dues, engaged in activism and had meet ups and consumed TRS content, but no one actually ran for any office as a National Justice Party candidate. It was a “party” which people joined which didn’t engage in politics whose members were satisfied by just talking about Jews, “telling the truth” about World War II, bonding with other history lovers. It is similar to people who go to Star Trek conventions dressed up like Klingons and who like speaking in Klingon. The appeal of it is the experience of playing the character … the act of being and feeling “NS” or Klingon and affirming your own personal identity.

Harry Potter fans have a much more elaborate LARP called the College of Wizardry in Poland where fans can experience what it is like to be part of one of the four houses of Hogwarts: Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin. No one who attends actually learns to be a magician, but they get to go through a process which makes them feel like a wizard and they find that meaningful because it satisfies a fantasy. It is an experience that separates them from the Muggles who lack magical powers. “NS” fandom parties are similarly organized in that the “party” doesn’t actually do anything that other “parties” normally do for other political factions. There is a similar conceit in that belonging to such a “party” is thought to be more “revolutionary” or “radical” even though political engagement is actually being forfeited.

Nationalism doesn’t need the apolitical “NS” fandom to succeed. To the extent that people become wrapped up in this subculture, they tend to disengage from politics and encourage others to do so. If people actually tried to do what the historic NSDAP did which was contest state power and win offices all over Germany on behalf of their own ideology, the “NS” fandom would oppose this because that would require engaging with the system and a sense of political realism.

  1. National Socialists are the intellectual backbone of the dissident right. The never/hardly ever wrong group that never sells out. The last men standing in any debate who clearly reason.

    But what you ask them to be, the public are not yet ready for, bringing you into view ridiculing them for something you yourself see. “It won’t work at the moment but look at these play actors not trying to make it work when it won’t” you say.

    The Overton window is shifting and the NS set do very good work at bringing awareness to pro-White issues, and on platforms like Gab consistently bring users further to the right, and closer to the truth. There’s a reason the one political ideology is the most verboten, it is the ideology that is truly a threat to our enemies.

    Not today, not with the numbers of today, but if it continues to grow. And you can’t call it out for failing 500 out of 500 times without noting *every single attempt* by pro-Whites of all descriptions to prevent White genocide in the West have failed.

    Opposition to immense power does not crystallise and succeed over night, and you are judging too soon. The *conditions* have to be present first, and we head towards them as we speak.

    But nevertheless, the most important work NS people do, and they can do it as much as any other pro-White, is support other pro-White causes and approaches alongside NS.

    We National Socialists support ALL genuine attempts to bring about a positive future for Whites, and just add to that this is not likely to occur where diversity, anti-racism and semitism are welcomed, and where Whites still labour under historical mistruths and imagined crimes like the holocaust.

    We do not seek to pull down others doing good pro-White things, and yet a person like yourself (and many others) fashion to do good by talking us down. It is *eyebrow* raising.. whose work you actually do in doing so.

    Nevertheless, just by mentioning us you send your readers our way, not all, but a percentage, and not all remain on the plantation you fashion for them. This is the thing that appears to escape you.. you preach to a converted choir.. anti-National Socialism is the default position people *start* in, but many once they are exposed to our views, come over to our side – and from there do not leave. Meaning all you can do by raising NS as a topic of debate is grow our ranks.
    You are hardly going to convince anyone on our side to stop, and all you do for everyone else is open up a window for them to think.. well maybe there is something to those guys.

    People are SICK OF the same urbane platitudes coming from the media (social or otherwise), “Nazis bad/no good/won’t work/are ridiculous” too aligned with CNN talking points to do anything but burn YOUR OWN credibility.

    If we weren’t a resonant movement, you wouldn’t even be mentioning us, we wouldn’t be on your radar. Putting a lie to your hit piece.

        I also noticed something. Among the “altright” broadly there has arisen a Cultural Christianity. They take a Nietzschean view of Christianity and define their faith relative to the power dynamics Christianity as an institution employs instead of taking Christ at his own word. Actually, Nietzsche was wrong, Christianity is not slave morality but prison morality; Christianity pacifies the strong, yes, but it also pacifies the weak. It restrains the strong while making sure the weak never become strong and remain subordinate. Altrighters notice this and then become Christian. Christ’s innate radicalism is rationalized away. This is how the Republican party implements tax cuts for the rich and financialization while also posturing as Christian (Nationalist).

        Martin Luther was a pietist. Then he realized what he started, got cold feet and tried to back away. True believers like Muntzer and the poor he represented who took Luther at his word were massacred. At the end of his life Luther realized he only exchanged one corrupt elite for another and that the Reformation was a fraud.

He hasn’t actually innovated or contributed anything original, he doesn’t have the charisma to make his own cult and has been rejected by the groypers due to his lack of zeal for Fuentes after the attempted assassination on Nick’s life a few months ago.

      For him, he knows he doesn’t have enough talent or original ideas to carry the movement forward, so he’s decided to become Elon’s toadie to gain some kind of clout or something. I don’t think he’s being paid, because Elon has no need to pay him anything. He’s just another failure in the WN movement.

        If I remember correctly, he ran as a Republican and was denounced by the GOP. I think I wrote something about that at the time. Why wasn’t there any follow up to that? Individuals do these campaigns on their own initiative. Glenn Miller ran for office several times.

          Didn’t Sam Parker run for the US Senate in Utah?

          The motivation is there to bring a third position political party to the American electorate, but funding it, and having both state and federal law enforcement agencies harass and intimidate candidates makes it extraordinarily difficult to gain any traction.

          The Canadian blogger at The Daily Rake chastised NJP for not running anyone for local offices, and he was quite correct that even in a loss that it would bring attention to the messengers.

            Anyway with all the negative press the city of Enid received nationally, his opponent with a large coffer of donations won easily.

            He didn’t run as a National Socialist or a nationalist. He was fixed as being at Charlottesville or some other pro-Whote demonstration.

        • George Lincoln Rockwell ran for governor of Virginia and lost to the corrupt Byrd political machine.

          David Duke of course ran for president, US senate, governor and Louisiana State Representative.

          Tom Metzger ran for a US Congressional seat in California in won the democratic primary against two other candidates. Afterwards, both parties came together to denounce Metzger, and he lost in the general election.

          So, there have been some candidates for office during WN 1.0.

            David Duke engaged in politics in the 1990s and he got very far. He pushed issues like illegal immigration into the mainstream. Losing campaigns like Duke, Buchanan, Perot and Ron Paul paved the road for Trump

          • David Duke won by renouncing his past and claiming that he changed. When he ran again in 2016, after it was clear that his renunciation of his past was fake, he didn’t make a dent. You might as well support Byrd too, because Byrd also got elected by renouncing his past.

  4. Yes so too……I’m not against historical national socialism or fascism but some of today’s groups leave no hope or good prospects.

    First of all I have always found skinheads ridiculous both in my country and abroad: shaving their heads and drinking beer in a pub doesn’t make them revolutionaries and most of all they will never change shit, they will not change the world with this attitude.

    Regarding America, I think the reason is because national socialism or fascism there are, as you said Brad, somewhat foreign.The existence of the Klan or neo-Confederate movements make more sense. There are European movements that are seriously committed to national socialism or fascism like the Nordic Resistance Movement or Golden Dawn and others. However these are in Europe where fascism and Nazism are not strangers.

    A final thought is that in the United States most of those who call themselves “former white supremacists” are members of National Socialist movements such as the national socialist movement.

      • @November i know that national socialism has been, in some period, popular in USA…… i can cite the example of George Lincoln Rockwell or William Luther Pierce and others. However, USA fought against nazi in WW2, even those people who had similar ideas and visions with nazism. It’s true what you said that there were also people in USA that endorsed nazism before and after WW2, but in the core of USA had always been more radicated the general white southern nationalism and the Klan. I agree that some klan factions are ridiculous, just look at the way they dress, but at least it is a U.S. product.

        I am not saying that we must spit in the face of National Socialism, I have always maintained that to beat our opponents we must be coalesced otherwise we go nowhere. Certainly it is always good to coalesce with intelligent people and avoid the stupid people who are in all movements.

          I understand where you are coming from, but the US used to look to Europe and Germany during the nineteen century for ideas.           • I know this isn’t the thread in which to debate religion (or to correct misconceptions about the infamous Klan), but a brief push-back…

            Most rabid anti-Christians associating with right-wing circles tend to be extremely naive about the relevant topics involved in religious discussions, especially epistemology, theology, any history other than WWII, etc.

            For those who like to read books, I recommend Lytle’s biography of Nathan Bedford Forrest. Lytle, a southern legend in his own right and one of the famous Nashville Agrarians, writing on a genuine hero and his heroic band of political bandits who rescued the soul of the South from Reconstruction. These heroes, November assures us, were “domestic embarrassments”.

            As to that epistemic naivety I mentioned, just think about what a standard of empirical proof entails. Can we empirically prove that empiricism is a legitimate means of justifying beliefs? Makes one dizzy just thinking about it – so most naive empiricists don’t think about it at all. They just assume it.

            The same jews who taught us to hate ourselves, also taught us to hate our God.

            Remember that.

  5. National Socialism was actually divided between a Strasserite branch which stressed anti-capitalism and a Hitlerite variety that obsessed with Jews and was actually right winged. The problem is that when you say national socialist, people think of the Hitlerite type and not the Strasserite type.

    I don’t have any interest in a position that puts antisemitism as more important than anti-capitalism.

    I can find some common ground with the Strasserite types that are more anti-capitalist than they are anti-Jewish.

    I always say that I’m socially moderate-conservative but economically leftist. Plenty of people in Asia and Russia are that way and the Democratic Party used to be that way in the South.

    Because of guilt by association, it’s best not to use the term.

    What exactly is your point here? As far as I’m aware, all strategies have been deployed by competent individuals and movements to halt the decline of the White race. None of them have been successful. Entryism hasn’t worked, mass movements hasn’t worked, vanguardism hasn’t worked, terrorism hasn’t worked, lifestylism/self-help hasn’t worked, etc. So should we just give up on the issues we care about entirely, because no tactic has worked thus far? What is even the point of being politically engaged then? Just tune out of politics and become apolitical. Because you’ve clearly given up on your ideals.

    Yeah yeah, I don’t care, you used to be pro-White in a meaningful sense and now you’re either not, or you are but you’ve convinced yourself that no one should act on their on their ideals.     To me what’s inspiring is that no matter how many times things fizzle out on their own or they’re crushed by external forces, the networks always rebuild again spontaneously. There will always be those of us who hope. And I’m not so arrogant to assume I have the correct answer about what strategy will eventually result in victory, and when the conditions will be right for it to kick off for real. I’ll happily celebrate if any of these right-wing populists actually do end mass migration and start the mass deportations, but we’ve only seen them do the opposite and betray their voters so far, e.g. Meloni drastically increased mass immigration.
    Anyways your attempt at blackpilling hasn’t worked on me in the slightest. Even if I knew for sure this will all end in failure and our race is dead, I don’t see how betraying everything a care about and larping that I’m something I’m not (a conservative, a Christian, etc.) fixes anything.   9. This is a Southern Nationalist website with a populist, pro-White bent. I have enjoyed it immensely over my years of lurking and using it as a sort of news aggregator (Mr. Griffith certainly is a prolific writer for the cause). In all that time, the best pieces I ever read were those on the uniqueness of the Southern race and our history.
    Although I have become distressed at the steep decline in comments and interactions recently (prompting me to finally comment here), I think I am beginning to understand why. I think Brad has simply become tired of the constant trolling from goose-stepping Yankees with plastic Stalhelms, who have invaded this site to spew their identity crisis worship for a long-dead political movement from a foreign nation (never much embraced in proudly Anglo-Celtic America) all over his bandwidth.
    When did the right-wing trolls start to become nearly as insufferable as the Woke lefties? Don’t they realize that nobody wants to hear their constant yammering about how much they loved the Nazis any more than they would hatred for same from whiny, paranoid jews? Schindlers list is long, boring propaganda…so let’s watch Europa: the Last Battle instead! It’s even LONGER and more boring propaganda!

        It was too economically left-wing for my taste and some of the ideas were questionable, (such as getting rid of no-fault divorce, which I fear would weaken rather than strengthen the traditional family) but it certainly wasn’t Jew Jew Jew Hitler Jew Jew. The platform was crafted to appeal to normal, politically moderate citizens and the long-term goal was always to actually run candidates. It was a good idea, poorly executed. And I don’t see Christian WNs doing anything better. They spend a lot of time calling people demonic and satanic and doing theological debates that the average citizen will be utterly uninterested in. How can Wallace can criticize the LARPing of Harry Potter fans and National Socialists and not see the similarity to the armies of X accounts with AI-generated crusader profile pics?     The point is this:- we’re normal people with a normal set of beliefs. There’s nothing extreme about what we’re about.so we have to look and act like normal people. Dressing up like Hitler or the KKK would be a gift to the left, handed over to them on a platter. They’d have a field day with it all.
    The left are the extremists, and they look and act as silly as their beliefs are. We have to present as a credible alternative to them.
    The dynamics have shifted a little since the election. No point marching down the streets in Nazi outfits when you already have a leader who’s doing a lot of what you’re asking if him. You don’t want to create a negative ripple effect when he’s on such a roll.
    ATM, the left are probably self destructing and going mental. Maybe just say as little as possible and allow the spotlight to remain on them. They’re doing our job for us.

    There is one aspiration worth voicing, and its summarized by the 14 words.

    I challenge any current openly self-declared national socialist to explain to me how any of what they have done has actually accomplished anything in pursuit of the 14 words. Especially in the context of the dissident right, which was the most recent iteration of this toxic nonsense.

    The 14 words are the litmus test by which all progress is judged, and if you aren’t making white lives better or building a future for white kids, you are at odds with white interests.

    It really isn’t anymore complicated than this.

    Set aside all the bullshit arguments about everything else and take a long hard look at the RESULTS of what you are doing.

    That being said, National Socialism and other fascisms remain intellectually significant as the only Third Way that has ever been attempted between communism and capitalism since the 1850s. The National Socialists correctly perceived that both communism and capitalism were globalist, materialist philosophies, dominated by cosmopolitan Jews who sought to serve their own interests rather than the working man and his country and his people.

    It is telling that communism and capitalism forged a military alliance to defeat National Socialism, and it is telling that Britain and France declared war on Germany and were thus the aggressors in World War II. (The notion that they went to war with Germany to save Poland is an obvious lie — they never declared war on the USSR for invading Poland but rather, allied with it.)

    I think the concept of “national socialism” (lower case) remains important today as rapacious global capitalism continues to plunder the American working class, but one need not go prancing around with swastika armbands to make this argument.

    Indeed, I think the true appeal of so-called “Nazis” in the U.S. since World War II is that it attracts people who are so alienated and so disaffected they enjoy making a spectacle of themselves because they have nothing to lose, in the same way that obese, ugly, liberal women revel in their ugliness and try to be as obnoxious as possible because they are too ugly and too disaffected to attract a man and live a normal life. Being so far alienated from the mainstream of your society is in some ways liberating, because you can say anything you want, but it is also a measure of your impotence.

    Unfortunately the entire ZOG/postwar American Empire is founded on the mythos and the propaganda of the supposedly world-historically “evil Nazi,” and there is no room for any intelligent discourse that challenges the Zionist, capitalist American Empire. It is almost like having grown past the Santa Claus myth, while your fellow Americans, members of Congress, the media, intellectuals, and presidents still have the intellectual capacity of a four year old and still think that Saint Nick is going to ride his magic sleigh through the sky and come down your chimney…

      Nazism was a truly revolutionary creed which consciously rejected the Christian concept of egalitarianism. It is unique among all political movements of recent times in this respect. Despite being an atheist creed, the Jewish creation of Marxism–Leninism retained the key Christian teaching of the essential equality of all men. Ron Unz has called Nazism “Judaism for wimps” and this is an excellent insight. Nazism was purposefully created as a creed for a new master race. It was necessary to ditch egalitarianism in order to take on the race who had foisted the concept on the world in the first place (via Christianity) – so as to rule it. All other modern political movements can be classified in Nietzsche’s genealogy as creeds for slaves and Christian White nationalism is no different.

      Anti-egalitarianism is a competitor to Judaism and cannot be tolerated by ZOG in any form. They created the secular religion of Holocaustianity for the post-Christian West, in which liberalism is the new “good”. There is no need to say “evil Nazi” as the two words are synonyms. Of course the Devil has just been replaced by Hitler in this new myth. The Jews have conquered the world in large part through the egalitarian sickness, with which they infected the “blond beast”. Their rule will remain unchallenged until a new, powerful anti-egalitarian creed is able to emerge.

        There are non-fascist “third-ways”, or at least different sorts of civilizational paradigms we might consider, especially that of the American south, where a decentralized republic was motivated by distributed labor (and labor ownership) and capital goods. Later, once the institution of slavery became taboo, many tried to tinker with this model and produce economic systems that mimicked it only without private ownership of labor (I’m thinking here of the different forms of British Distributism and modern Third-Way Distributists).

        It’s hard to categorize different political paradigms since every word ending in “ism” is almost unintelligible; and we can all slice up the pie in different ways, of course, but I think it’s best to avoid typical government-school black/white naivete and realize all the shades of nuance real history has produced.

        And disagree with Walt because of the ridiculous assertion that the modern cancer of egalitarianism is Christian in any sense whatever.

  19. I’ve never posted a comment here before but I’ve been following this blog for a long time, it’s one of the few “alt-right” blogs I still read regularly. I got sucked down the far-right pipeline about 10 years ago, mostly through 4chan, and I would say that HW’s characterization of National Socialism as being closer to a fandom than a serious political movement is right on the nose.

    NatSoc is basically a fringe online social club, and tends to attract the same kind of people who are drawn to outsider hobbies like anime and MLP. It’s worth noting that a fair chunk of online Nazis end up getting drawn into other fringe fandoms and ideologies once they get bored or frustrated, which tends to happen quickly and often. At least half the people I was in Nazi discords with around 2016-2017 wound up becoming troons or furries, and a fair chunk of them became unironic Communists. For my part, I found all the sieg-heiling and vaporwave swastika stuff was fun for awhile, but past a certain point it’s just silly. Mostly I just credit all that stuff for being what convinced me to leave the normie reservation and take a serious interest in history and current events.

    Probably the best thing neo-Nazism has actually accomplished, though, is inadvertently de-stigmatizing Hitler by transforming him from the great villain of the 20th century into some cringey nerd icon. The average young person nowadays probably associates Nazis less with WWII and the Holocaust, and more with online weirdos who have Yui Hirasawa wearing an SS cap for an avatar.

    I think that is a very simplistic but effective barometer to judge differences within the Rightwing. While Jews have undoubtedly killed many Americans, chiefly thru organized crime or vice promotion, few have done so as weaponized instruments of a state of Jews. In terms of sheer American blood spelt, the Germans, and especially the Nazi Germans stand out in contrast. So, I’d say I hate Hitler more than Jews, by far.

    My grandfather’s family for one had his mother’s last living English relative of her maiden name killed in Operation Pegasus on DDay. Although separated by an ocean and a generation, my Grandfather and his English cousin became good friends during the War, so the loss was deeply felt. Additionally, my Grandfather and all his fighting age Anglo-American cousins fought Nazi Germans and lost another one of the family fighting in Europe. So, they strongly disliked Nazi Germans and Fascist Dagos while having relatively decent relations with their Jewish-American neighbors.

    Not coincidentally, what would be her great grand niece is today a well known hard right British Patriot. This She-Briton routinely has been skewering for years the current N@gger UK Foreign Minister since before he held office. But, when she got invited to speak at a Nazi-symping Rightwing organization she told them off as saurkraut eaters or something along those lines.

    So, yeah, we Anglo-Celt-Saxon Prods hate Hitler far more than Jews and got pretty good at killing Nazi Germans and Fascist Dagos.
