In the last two days, three separate polls have Trump down to 35% to 37%. Regardless of how the Thomas Massie primary turns out, Trump has destroyed his coalition, will lose the midterms and get impeached. Primary season will be over soon. MAGA will have to compete in a general election.

Have concluded that the Republican party is beyond reform.
Looking at the dataset of Republicans wasting Trillions on wars and thousands of soldiers lives lost in the deserts and comparing that to the Democrats getting the USA into bad trade deals (Nafta, Gatt, To, bad deal with S. Korea) it seems to me the Democrats are less destructive. Maybe even the lesser of two evils.
What is to be done? As for me I have rebranded as a Union Democrat! I am donating bucks to try and get electoral revenge on the perfidious Republicans. May they go the way of the Whigs!

As the sanctions on Russian oil were reinstated by Zog on May 18, the Indian government announcwd that they will continue to buy Russian oil and gas, and that they couldn’t care less about any American sanctions. So India has no problems, they have plenty of oil and gas.
China instructed their refineries 2 weeks ago to completely ignore American sanctions. China has no shortages at all, and none on the horizon. They are also receiving Iranian oil by truck and train, not a huge amount yet, but that route is heavily invested, and there is nothing Zog can do to stop it.
America obviously has no shortages. American exports of oil and gas are at an all time high, and at record profits.
The big losers are the vassal states in Europe. Plenty of oil and gas is available to them at reasonable prices, but they refuse to buy it. The feeling among the nationalists there is, the regimes want to phase out oil, and that is why they refuse to buy it (boycotts).
In my industry, trucking, we haven’t seen any downturn at all yet. Freight volume remains strong, and rates are increasing. I do expect a recession. There just isn’t any evidence of one yet.
Paxton is strong, and has remained ahead of Cornyn. That is why Trump endorsed him. He was going to win anyway.
