CNN: Supreme Court Hands Trump Massive Wins on Immigration Agenda

My thoughts:

1. The Supreme Court decisions this year are playing out largely as I expected. The Voting Rights Act was gutted. Trump’s tariffs were struck down and his power was curtailed. He has won two victories here on Temporary Protected Status and “metering” asylum seekers at the border.

2. I’m still expecting the big L on birthright citizenship. I would be surprised if the court went the other way. I think these two decisions are sugar coating in advance a big defeat.

3. The ruling on Temporary Protected Status essentially gets rid of judicial review. MAGA is prematurely celebrating this as a big win. Trump is at 31% on the economy and around 35% in polls. MAGA is on the way out. The next Democratic administration will be able to grant sweeping Temporary Protected Status protections to the entire world and the courts won’t be able to do anything about it.

CNN:

“The Supreme Court’s conservative majority delivered President Donald Trump a pair of significant affirmations of his immigration policy Thursday, paving the way for the administration to effectively remove more than 1 million people from the US and keep many others from entering in the first place.

The decisions, both of which were written by conservative Justice Samuel Alito over scathing dissents from the court’s three liberals, will have a sweeping impact on asylum claims at the US border and on a program known as Temporary Protected Status, a form of humanitarian relief that allows beneficiaries to live and work in the country legally. …

The court sided with Trump on Temporary Protected Status by essentially ruling that courts have no business deciding the issue in the first place. …

It enables federal agents stationed at the border to turn back asylum seekers before they ever step foot on US soil, frustrating their ability to be formally inspected by officials — the first step in a winding process that could eventually result in them being granted asylum. …”

If Trump had creating an enduring majority coalition that could build on these decisions, this would be worth celebrating. It is like eliminating the filibuster to pass the SAVE Act. You shouldn’t want to eliminate the filibuster when you are headed back into the minority in Congress.

  1. Dems will triple the size of SCOTUS when the blue wave crashes in 2028. It’s over. It will be nationwide mamdani\spanberger hell until the US resembles the worst parts of the 3rd world, but with a technocratic surveillance grid over it. Expropriation of White wealth, and more anarcho\tyranny slow boil genocide presided over by brown female judges. If you’re going to flee the country, best to do it now.

  2. Of all people, a world-famous soccer star from the very country that once developed the world’s most heinous xenophobic ideology has racially disparaged African soccer—which is strategically sophisticated, tactically well-thought-out, and always emotionally level-headed—as “wild, unorthodox, and not tactically driven,” thereby hurting millions of Black people!

This white racist also has the audacity to cling to his colossal, misanthropic insult! The incurable disease of white supremacy is so deeply rooted in the limbic brain of the European race that it can never be eradicated, except through the elimination of the white race itself. Countless Black philosophers and political theorists have unanimously reached this conclusion.

  3. However, I strongly suspect that our oh-so-beloved black fellow human beings are fundamentally bad losers because they lack the insight to recognize their own mistakes. Then they try, as it were, to invalidate the result by pulling the ever-ready “racism” card out of their sleeve.

  4. Yes, the court ruling does nothing but give future administrations (democrats) more, not less, power to flood the US with nons.

“The President of the United States appoints the Secretary of Homeland Security, established under the Homeland Security Act of 2002 and codified in 6 U.S.C. § 112”
“The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) determines which immigrants are eligible for Temporary Protected Status (TPS). Specifically, the Secretary of Homeland Security has the discretionary authority to designate countries for TPS based on conditions such as ongoing armed conflict, environmental disasters, or extraordinary temporary conditions that prevent nationals from returning safely.”

The whole system is rotten to the very core. You can run away, fight back as an atomized individual (which is a jew divide and conquer system) OR you can join a national socialist party and clean house.

Do you think if we just complain enough the nons will leave? The debt will disappear? Our industrial base will return? The cultural psyops will end? The endless wars will stop?

  5. I don’t think there will be an L on Birthright Citizenship. But I don’t think Trump will be able to declare victory, either.

My reading of Chief Justice John Roberts is that he will PUNT the issue of Birthright Citizenship somehow. He will either allow the STATES to decide what is honored in their jurisdiction OR he will force Congress to formally ratify birthright citizenship or outlaw it altogether. If they do, they can ban birthright citizenship retroactively OR they can grandfather those who are already here in the USA as adults.

I think what hurt Trump’s tariffs was Trump himself. He got too cocky and full of himself. Instead of using tariffs to simply protect American industry, he chose to use it as leverage and/or punishment against countries, many of which were supposed to be our allies.

Trump was much more judicious during his first term and one of the things the Biden Administration did NOT do was eliminate the tariffs that Trump had already instituted.

  6. > You shouldn’t want to eliminate the filibuster when you are headed back into the minority in Congress.

Jim Thune will probably eliminate the filibuster after his fellow Pizza-gourmets wearing the D-jerseys take the helm of the DC ho-house in January. In the finest tradition of towering figures like Mitch McConnell, Bob Dull et al. Gay Old Pedoburo would starve without their pizza supply. Wonder is Ghislaine is procuring for them whilst she’s in club fed.

  7. I saw a disturbing story on Revolver this morning. According to the story, the Trump administration has asked Prager U to develop a history curriculum for white Afrikaaners coming to the US. Yes, let a Jew teach American history to new whites coming to the country. Make sure they adopt Judeo Christian values. I hate the Trump administration.

  8. Not only Jared Taylor, but also Victor Hugo Caca invited Boll to an interview. But now that Musk posted his movie for free on X for two days, that’s probably a thing of the past. It would be interesting to find out what the terms of the deal were, since Musk has plenty of money to throw around. Is Boll now a filthy rich man, too?

Good content should ideally be entertaining, funny, and informative. Most of the time, one or more (or even all) of these ingredients are missing, so it’s best to just create your own anyway. At any rate, I came across this British channel through Caca—it’s not informative, but it is, or at least was (no videos for two years), funny and entertaining.

These New Zealanders are pretty funny, too.
