As I explained on The Political Cesspool, I am extremely pessimistic about politics in the short term, but optimistic about politics in the long term. I’m confident that Trump and MAGA will suffer a bigger defeat in the midterms than in 2018. Trump will be impeached next year and will become a lame duck president. The final two years of Trump’s second term will be consumed with gridlock and investigations.

In 2028, MAGA will lose again with Vance or Rubio because of Israel.
Basically, I think Trump has set us up for a repeat of the Obama years with his failed presidency. Democrats will retake the House in the midterms and possibly the Senate like in 2006. Democrats will win the presidency back in 2028 by running a change candidate like Obama. By this point, Trump and MAGA will be discredited and in the rearview mirror and the focus will be on how Democrats are screwing up and ruining the country. It won’t take long for Democrats to squander their backlash majority.
By 2032, Boomers and Gen X will have taken a large dip in their share of the rightwing electorate. They won’t be able to control the primaries anymore. FOX News will lose its grip on primaries. After suffering two big defeats because of Israel, I doubt the donors will be able to hold on past 2032. The Republican Party will be forced to evolve on Israel in a way that is inconceivable today to stay competitive.
Netanyahu and the rest of genocide Jews are not the people who like to lose.
They will fight to death and use every measure to keep their power and defend Israel. Violence and murders included.
We see in Gaza how far those evil people are ready to go to get what they want.
So don’t expect that they just lose midterms, accept defeat and go to dustbin of history.

If the GOP runs Vance then it’s proof that they are either out of touch or want to lose. If they actually want to try to win they will run Rubio to try to secure the Hispanic vote.
Will Our Greatest Ally use nukes against Iran as Mr. President fails to wage war to Our Greatest Ally’s satisfaction? Perhaps an air burst at 30,000 feet as a warning or maybe an EMP test. Both would avoid direct civilian casualties while sending a clear message to Iran that the next one will be worse. More importantly, it would also send a direct message to the entire U.S. Government, the public facing, loathsome politicians and the psychos in the Deep State that Our Greatest Ally is in charge, no one else. This nuclear blackmail tactic worked wonders against the Nixon administration in Oct. 1973 so there is precedent.
There is also the matter of the Ukraine War raging in the East, another war started by The Usual Suspects. Ukraine has launched a series of devastating drone and missile attacks against Russia crossing hundreds of miles of territory, striking critical energy targets. None of these attacks would be possible were it not far massive technical assistance from NATO members now inserting themselves directly into the war against Russia. Russia’s patience and forbearance in the face of these direct attacks has been surprising but all good things come to an end.
This is the war the Trump administration should have focused its efforts on ending, as DJT promised, instead of attacking Iran. The Ukraine war could rapidly become a much larger, more dangerous war. The Trump administration, now consumed by their Iran war cannot focus on two problems at once so the escalating Ukraine War goes by the boards until it blows up, out of control.
