My thoughts:
1. This was inevitable given how hard American public opinion has swung against Israel which now has a negative favorability rating in the United States.
2. The Israel Lobby isn’t going away. It is just adapting to these headwinds by trying to make campaign contributions and support for candidates more opaque.
3. It is still great news that Israel is so toxic that candidates have to run away from the Israel Lobby. The trend is toward greater awareness.
Occidental Dissident is a parasitical organization that lives off of complaining about Jewish Organizations like the ADL and Israeli organizations like AIPAC. The question is can Occidental Dissident adapt to this end of history world moment or will like many Cold War warriors at the fall of the Soviet Union decided to call it day and grill and chill.
Will Occidental Dissident go out of business because it won’t be able to explain itself without AIPAC or will it adapt into explaining previous history including the fall of Rome thru the JQ? Will Hunter pivot into turning the page of OD from a contemporary Anti-Semitic news site focused on how the US is a province of Israel or into a history Anti-Semitic research site focused on discovering how Rome wasnt destroyed by Christian German Barbarians but a Jewish plot? Anti-Semitic times they are a changing.
This prevents the disastrous scenario where they approach a candidate, and instead of taking the bribe they go to the medià and brag about turning it down
I guess my remarks about envying the Democrats for J Street keeping The Nose stuck firmly behind the curtain resonated … SOMEWHERE. The Republican Party’s obsequious, servile brown nosing to an increasingly imperious AIPAC really hurt them after the Hamas attack on Israel.

Of course NPR itself isn’t exactly what one could call a credible source of anything apart from disinformation. I can hardly wait for what will no doubt be a full-fledged Ganges river level of sewage soon to appear from everybody’s favorite mischling on how AIPAC are the real patriots and Christians.

Don’t think for even a nanosecond that either of the two fake-and-gay political parties are not completely controlled by the usual suspects. Falling into the same trap we have for decades running is not a way to react. The Republican and Democrcat parties are both utterly beyond reform as is the whole system itself – political, judicial, financial, academic, arts, sciences. Genuine systemic change is required. Lots of sacred cows need to be put on the altar of truth and burned.
AIPAC is taking a break for a month until after the election when they will resume dumping freshly printed judefetzen all over the US political system.

Thanks to your great blog (and others) there is open discussion of this issue and other verboten subjects. This is intolerable in the wonderful “democracy” we enjoy (for now), thus the ham fisted attempts at censorship. We aren’t supposed to ‘notice’, that’s a crime by itself.
