Axios: More Than 1,100 People Facing January 6 Charges

UPDATE:

January 6 was a farce.

It was a riot which culminated with the Q Shaman and a Groyper holding court on the Senate floor. A mob of unarmed people broke into the Capitol only to wander around and leave when asked to do so. By any reasonable standard, it WAS NOT a coup or a revolution. No power center was realistically threatened. The military wasn’t even consulted about the supposed plot to overthrow the government!

In the long run, the significance of January 6 is that it is being used an excuse to use the criminal justice system to resolve partisan disputes, which is a scenario I didn’t anticipate. This experiment will prove to have far more devastating consequences for American democracy than the riot itself. I doubt I alone in this opinion.

I vividly recall what I assumed was his final act: the Stop the Steal campaign after the 2020 election, the cries of election fraud, the January 6 riot, how he monitored the situation, the impeachment that followed, the pardons of black rappers and Jonathan Pollard’s release from prison. The Trump presidency had been a farce. I thought it was fitting that it ended in one big farce.

It didn’t end there though.

To my surprise, Our King wasn’t done. He had only been sent into exile at Mar-a-Lago like Napoleon was exiled to Elba. He has spent years brooding and plotting his comeback.

Initially, I thought January 6 was a disappointment as far as acceleration goes. Trump crossed the Rubicon only to blink, pack his bags and get out of town. He missed his moment. The Democrats, however, have never been able to let it go. They have prosecuted over 1,000 people who entered the Capitol. The January 6 hearings dragged on for months. They made the 2022 midterms about January 6. Finally, they decided to indict and arrest Trump himself and put him on trial in DC over January 6. Ultimately, they have decided to push our fraught politics into the dangerous arena of the criminal justice system.

Regardless of what I thought about him before, Our King is back. He is marching to the Republican nomination. He is polling better than ever before against Crooked Joe Biden. He has taken our political system hostage like a suicide bomber. The Democrats and the Deep State can’t abide him winning the election and being restored to power after January 6, but his supporters who believe the system is rigged can’t abide him being prosecuted and sent to jail by a corrupt incumbent! 

Heads the system loses!

We have the Democrat obsession with 1/6 to thank for it. As someone who is facing over 450 years in prison, Trump has no choice but to run for president and win. Trump’s enemies feel like they have no choice but to take him out to save Our Democracy.

  1. Trump will win the nomination but the establishment will never allow him back in the WH. The election fraud apparatus remains firmly in place and the GOP shows no signs that it will be dismantled for the 2024 rematch. And so down Trump will go, losing, and his people yelling about voter fraud- or as a last resort there is the ‘November 22’ option. If he survives it is off to prison he goes. All his close associates will go to prison too. Citizen MAGA leaders probably will catch some charges too, and all of this will be bogus legal stuff. Being a Trumper will become almost literally illegal. The accelerationists have shown close to zero aptitude for effective political organizing the last 30 odd years so why they think that once the system is in a shambles then suddenly they will emerge as political wonderkids and saviors is beyond me. Until the ‘far right’ or the white survival movement learns how to ‘do’ politics… we are doomed.

    • Rot on the system works both ways.

      When evil doers act, rotten system will follow. But when few good men also act, rotten system will freeze or disintegrate.

      I predict that whole shit show will play out like Soviet coup in 1991. Desperate act of violence by regime followed by rapid collapse of whole system.

      • I wish I could be optimistic. But I fear pro-whites- while gaining in numbers- will continue to be outflanked. I hope I’m wrong, as the hour is very late.

  2. Trump is an oligarch, like the Koch brothers.
    He’s one of them, not us.
    He doesn’t care about the people, he just cares about being rich, famous and having fun.
    Same with Bolsonaro, Meloni and all the other so called ‘nationalists’ and ‘populists’.
    The only real nationalists with any power are in eastern Europe, like Victor Orban of Hungary and Lukashenko of Belarus.
    White and Christian nationalism are dead in the west, even civic nationalism is dead.

    The way I see it is, for better or worse, conservatives are on their way out.
    Millennials and Z are far more liberal and progressive than their parents boomers and Xers.
    Unlike Boomers and Xers, Millennials and Z aren’t getting more conservative as they age.
    The reason for that is, several decades of neoliberalism has gutted the west, the welfare has been largely dismantled, we’re overrun with immigrants and most of the good paying blue collar jobs were shipped overseas.

    While the left did nothing to stop the right, it was the right who was most responsible.
    This is what several decades of voting conservative and for conservative leaning liberals has given us, poverty and a shrinking middleclass.
    The economy as a whole continued to grow, but only for the upper classes.

    Did the right do anything to uphold traditional values, protect our borders, jobs and national sovereignty?
    No they didn’t do a thing, they choose their priorities, tax cuts for the wealthy, that’s all they cared about for the least 4 or 5 decades, and that’s all they care about now.
    And so what we’re witnessing is the last hurrah of the right, they’ve decided to go out with a bang instead of a whimper.

    They know their time is short.
    They know the masses, especially the young have given up on them.
    So they put on these masks to try and lure some of them back.
    They talked about conspiracy theories, tried to scare the shit out of people by convincing them the left were a bunch of Marxists hell bent on world government.
    They talked about personal liberty, something they never cared about before.
    They talked traditional values, and nationalism, also things they cared little for.
    And by and large, with the exception of overturning Roe V Wade and a couple other items, it was all bullshit, tax cuts for the wealthy, cheap labor, imperialism and maintaining the security and surveillance state, that’s all the modern right ever cared about.

    Millennials and gen Z are seeing through it, boomers are retiring and silents are dying, and so they’re going to vote for progressives, and conservatives are going to be in a weaker position than they’ve ever been in since reconstruction.
    Local politics can still be conservative, but as far as national politics goes, for better or worse, the future is progressive.

    Conservatives had their turn, and now it’s over.
    Trump won’t be re-elected, but even if he is, he won’t lift a finger to change anything, he’s just a spoilt narcissist.
    He won’t do any time behind bars, if he’s convicted he’ll get a slap on the wrist, probation and some community service.
    Same with Berlusconi when he got busted for statutory rape with a teenager and evading taxes.
    Berlusconi and Trump are so similar, cut from the same cloth, Berlusconi didn’t do anything to fundamentally change Italy and neither will Trump with America, it’s all bullshit.

    White and Christian nationalism are a joke, that’s why Richard Spencer, Nick Fuentes and co, its biggest proponents are a joke.
    Our patricians sold us out a long, long time ago, and of course it’s they who largely control things, not the plebs.
    We’re gonna be globalists, 150%, just like the Roman empire, in fact more than the Roman empire ever could be.
    Eastern Europe is the last homeland for the white race.
    The west is long gone and dead, so may as well get over it.

  3. This mess was planned by Donald long ago. Great leaders thinking big.

    Draining The Swamp was never about firing some third rank Goverment employees only to reemployed few years later when Trump is gone.

    Draining The Swamp means whole system permanently gone.

    And for this, time and radicalization are needed. Big things need big causes and it takes time when average man understands that Stalin 1937 style purge is needed.

    Now this time rapidly approaches. Trump is wisest leader white people ever had. Many leaders tried to fight Jewry and they all lost. Russian revolution and Hitler most known. But now whole planet Earth is united and first time in history, we have Jewry seriously on ropes.

  4. Jan 6 was one of the most peaceful mass protests in history, with the exception of a federal thug shooting into an unarmed group of citizens, killing an American veteran.
