The False Narrative: White Family Attacked Near University of Chicago Campus

Mob of youths surround car, shatter rear window, yell racial slurs

In Chicago, this White woman and her two young kids made the mistake of crossing into the wrong neighborhood near the University of Chicago, and was surrounded by an angry mob of African-American youths, who proceeded to attack her car and bust out her rear window while screaming racial slurs:

“They were walking around both sides of the vehicle — in the front, in the back — and as they were walking across, they were hitting my car, using racial slurs and telling me that I didn’t belong in their neighborhood because I was white,” she told WLS.

She said people in the group kicked her car and shook it while her two children, a boy and girl, screamed. Then a bicycle was used to ram the car, shattering the rear window and sending broken glass into the third row where 3-year-old Benjamin was seated, she told the station. …”

Is it a “hate crime” or just another story we will send down the memory hole with the postmark “wrong place at the wrong time” because it doesn’t fit the leftwing media’s preferred narrative about race?

Note: The SPLC has condemned the C of CC for spreading a “false narrative of a victimized white majority under siege by allegedly violent people of color in the United States.” If memory serves, SPLC writer Keegan Hankes attended the University of Chicago and is probably familiar with this area.
